About

My name is Alex Moschopoulos (mo-SHOP-pol-us).  I’ve been in the interactive media business since 1996.

My story is more one of those “fell into it” type of plots.  While finishing my Bachelors in Business Administration with some idea that I’d go to work in Marketing, my alma mater (DePaul University) required me to take an Information Systems course, all in the name of a well-rounded education.  It was there that I built my first web site as a class project.  In many ways, it was a blog before the idea of blogging even existed.  I have to give credit to my friends for telling me to keep that site going because I grew in my skills, eventually to the point that HR executives advised me to pursue a career in this field.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of being able to work on a multitude of levels with clients ranging from mom and pop shops to major corporations and ad agencies.  My philosophy is and has always been on solid ideas that can last the test of time, since clients generally do not want to have to reimage their web sites on a yearly basis.  I pride myself on never falling behind technologically, but also remaining conservative when it comes to new technologies that come out.  I’ll never push someone to get on the “new trend” until I know it will bring value.  I especially like to make things easy on the client.  Let them get frustrated on other things, but not their web site.

I'm currently working full-time for a top ad agency, but am open to freelance work depending on the offer and project.

This site is basically my home base for the creative I do and the knowledge I have to share.  If you have any questions or are interested in interactive work from me, please contact me.
